Biography
As a resident of Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) for approximately 28 years, Roxanne Formisano has more than 28 years of real estate experience. Roxanne started out as Rookie of the Year in her first year of real estate, and worked her way up to a top producer and broker. In 2009, she was instrumental in opening Keller Williams Towne Square Realty. As one of the top local agents, Roxanne’s goal is to exceed her client’s expectations.
Roxanne is an active member of the Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) Chamber of Commerce. She has completed a joint venture with an established title Company and believes in giving back to the community. She has assisted with organizations like Heartworks, The Crisis Management group with the YMCA.

About Basking Ridge
The Lenni-Lenape Indians were the first known inhabitants of the Bernards Township area.
The area was purchased by John Harrison, agent of King James III of England in 1717, from Chief Nowenoik of the Lenapes, a real estate package of 3,000 acres for $50. The remainder of the Township’s land was bought later that year by William Penn. In 1733 the name Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) first appeared in ecclesiastic records of the Presbyterian Church.
Since the early 1700s Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) has grown to fit into the gentle landscape of rolling hills, brooks and streams. Modern day Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) boasts a top tier school system, homes of all size and character and a hometown charm. The downtown area has maintained the historical feel and charm of days of old.

Generals Washington and Lafayette and their colonial troops rested under the old oak tree at the Basking Ridge (Bernards Township) Presbyterian Churchyard.

The Chief Surgeon of the Union Army built a home in downtown following the war.

Samuel Owen of Newark, a pharmaceutical magnate, built his English Tudor mansion in 1912, now Township Hall.
